Librettowit is described as having a florid complexion and short black hair with bushy eyebrows and glasses perched on his bulbous nose, with small, dark eyes squinting from behind the grames, and a tiny pointed beard on a pointed chin, and a thin line of mustache over pouty lips.[1]
Librettowit is a friend and librarian to Wizard Fenworth. He prefers to stay in his library and research, and grumbles with Fenworth drags him onto quests. Despite this, he has proven to be more than useful outside the library.
In DragonQuest, Wit came to escort Kale, Bardon, and Toopka to Fenworth's castle so that Kale could begin her apprenticeship and Bardon could teach her self-defense. Due to Fenworth's age, he has become grouchy with the young meech dragon in his care. It is revealed that Kale had quickened the egg that was Regidor and the dragon's need to be near Kale is what led to his stubbornness and Fenworth's aggravation.
